It is comprised of a measuring wheel that is driving a mechanical counter and of a folding ergonomic handle (to facilitate transport and storage of the instrument).
It is a non-power instrument and it works both forwards and backwards.
The measuring wheel is made of an impact-resistant plastic and has a tyre made of oil-resistant, anti-skid rubber. The surveyor’s wheel can be equipped with a folding kickstand to park the device between measurements and with a lock to block the wheel and keep the value on the counter.
