Rewinders for cable drums

The PK-01 cable drum rewinder solves the problem of cross-winding cables from one drum onto another. With the use of a dismountable drum with a conical core it is also possible to coil a specified cable length and avoid giving the whole drum out to the customer.

PK-01/EH IS this is an optional execution of the REWINDER TYPE  PK-01 / E in which electric - hydraulic lifting of the drums is applied. Hydraulic cylinders are powered from a hydraulic aggregate.

The rewinder is used to rewind drums with a diameter of up to 2800 mm or 3000 mm (as desired) and a maximum weight of up to 10 tons. Lifting and lowering of the drums has been solved on the basis of screw drives. Such a solution shortens the preparatory and finaling time and is more convenient for the service which is of particular importance in the case of high work intensity.

Machine designed for drum-to-drum cable rewinding and for simultaneous length measurements of the rewound length, with automatic or manual cable laying. This rewinder type requires a foundation laid according to our documentation.

The rewinder consists of four elements:

  • output, equipped with lifting, clamping and drum drive systems,
  • drive, equipped with lifting, clamping and drum drive systems and cable layer
  • Measuring,
  • compensator, used to adjust the tension of the rewound cable.

Special rewinder type PK-1200 is used to rewind the wires from the drum to the drum.

Special winder type PK-1600 is used for rewinding cables from the drum to the drum.
